How our Helpline Advisers help

Our advisers are here to support you in your caring role. We take time to listen and understand your situation so we can offer support that’s right for you.

ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ information, support and signposting relevant to your need. Explaining what Universal Services for Carers offers – including wellbeing events, awareness sessions ਅਤੇ peer support opportunities.

Signposting to specialist organisations or community groups such as the Derby Dementia Support Service, local Autism services, ਜਾਂ the Parkinson’s Society. Guiding you on your rights, entitlements and benefits as a carer.

If your needs go beyond what we can directly support, we may also help you connect with professionals such as Social Prescribers ਜਾਂ Local Area Coordinators. We may also make a referral into Adult Social Care where appropriate.
